Afternoon Athletes
This is a great opportunity for students to be physically active and to improve their fitness levels. Students will participate in fun and exciting educational, cooperative, competitive, and non-competitive games and activities. The Afternoon Athletes Program will be run by Hanmer School Physical Education teacher Jonathan Diaz on Mondays (K-2) and Thursdays (3-6) from 3:30-4:30 PM.

Jingle Bell Run - Friday, December 6th, 2020 @ 3:45 PM
Students, parents, and teachers enjoy a 1-mile walk, jog, or run around the school grounds. We ask each family to donate 1 new, unwrapped toy or book to be donated to the Wethersfield Social Services Department. All participants should also wear jingle bells as they are on the course!

Unified Sports
Unified Sports is a registered program of the Special Olympics that combines students with special needs (special athletes) and students without special needs (special partners) on sports teams. At the elementary school level, students engage in non-competitive athletic activities designed to develop skills in a variety of sports (basketball, baseball, soccer, volleyball, and track & field).
